New Business of the Year - The Winner is . . . .
Dr. Jo Ann Daniels and her staff were nominated for New Business of the Year by the Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce. After counting the ballots, the winners were announced June 18th, 2009, at the Chambers Annual Installation and Awards Banquet.

- Taking on special needs strays from Pasco County Animal Services, providing care, medications, x-rays and surgery.
- Fundraising to help fees associated with veterinary care for needy pets.
- Education to help people with pets for disaster preparedness.
- Co-Founded a Professional Association with other veterinarians to share medical, surgical, and legislative information pertinent to Pasco and Hernando Counties.
- Co-applied for a grant that funded a Disaster Symposium for veterinarians and their staff to teach getting veterinary hospitals ready for a disaster so we all can quickly respond.
- Guest Speaker, Disaster Preparedness Symposium.
- Fundraising for oxygen masks that fit pets to be purchased for Pasco County Fire and Emergency Response vehicles.
